Ridgefield Housing Authority (RHA)
The RHA in Ridgefield CT, owns four different types of residential properties.  They are: Ballard Green, Prospect Ridge Congregate, Prospect Ridge Affordable and Moderate, and Prospect Ridge Meadows.  For detail on each please see Locations.

WinnResidential
All the properties owned by RHA are managed by WinnResidential, a member of the WinnCompanies  "... group of real estate businesses that develop, acquire and manage a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the nation:".  (http://www.winnco.com/) .

An example of the Ridgefield Housing Authorities properties is Prospect Ridge Meadows (pictured above).  This development features four new, two-story buildings, each containing 5 units of quality family rental housing (for a total of 20 units).  All of the units rent to low- and moderate-income families.

Designed to match the style of the existing units at Prospect Ridge, the new buildings use elements and concepts of “green-building” technology to limit energy consumption, helping to keep the units affordable to operate.

This initiative was sponsored by the Ridgefield Housing Authority (RHA) and the Ridgefield Affordable Housing Committee, and represents a financial partnership involving the Town of Ridgefield, the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), the Ridgefield Bank, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (FHLB), Northeast Utilities, and the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund (CHIF).

The Developer's Consultant was Real Estate Diagnostics Inc., the Architect was DCA Architects/Planners, and the General Contractor was LaRosa Building Group.  The Town of Ridgefield donated the land for this development.
